This underground café is located inside Antipolo Beehouse. As you arrived at the destination, you need to go down the steep stairs to reach the Beehouse. It may not be good tho for elders with weak knees.
At the ground, are all greenery space and the Bee House. You can actually rent the area for photo shoots.
While you need to go down the narrow stairs to reach the Burrow. And voila, a very relaxing restaurant to dine in. Surrounded by towering trees, furnitures made in wood, very quiet…this is the type of restaurant I don’t mind dining in for hours.
They also offer pastries at their counter area.
I’ve taken shots of the menu for your reference as well.
Now let’s jump to what we’ve ordered. Some of their fruit shakes aren’t available, so we opt for their mango shake.
For the main course, we tried our their lechon and gising-gising rice bowl. I like how tasty and tender the pork is. The gising-gising veggies is a good mixed with all that meat. The meat/ veggies and rice are served in the right quantity. Good for 1 person.
And we also tried their breakfast meal. Below photo is 14-day corned beef brisket. I immediately thought it’s a corned beef in a can. Which is good because heck this is pricey hahaha. Your choice for mashed potato or rice. Their version of mashed potato is fried. The meat is a bit chewy but I like the addition of their creamy mustard sauce. It goes well with the meat! Good for 1 person.
A bit pricey but the food is really good. And how can you not appreciate how beautiful this place is. By the way, you can rent this place for private events 😉 Please also note that they are closed during Mondays and Tuesdays; open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8am – 4pm; and Fridays to Sundays from 7am – 4pm.
