It’s been awhile since I’ve been to BGC and since I need to fill my hunger with a good meal we opt to try Tenya Tempura Tendon at Bonifacio stopover. It’s a bit expensive but the taste is worth it.
We ordered Niku Soba and Chicken Mayo Tendon. The savory soup of Niku Soba…until now I can still remember the taste. The taste of boiled beef on their soup base, the firm noodles, the tender beef strips. The bowl is good for one person but you’ll want more ‘coz it’s bitin!
Aside from the usual shrimp tempuras, their chicken mayo tendon is a must try too. With string beans on the side and smothered by mayo neatly on top. Add more rice to enjoy these huge chicken tempuras on your bowl. I didn’t expect that mayo would be a good pair for tempuras.
The place is not too crowded as well. Good menu, good food and good service all in one.
