More than a hotel, Fairmont Le Château Frontenac is also considered as a tourist destination in Québec. The grand hotel is located in Cape Diamond overlooking Dufferin Terrace and St. Lawrence River. You can enjoy the stunning Château Frontenac even if you don’ check-in. I mean if you have the cash to afford a room why not? But I can’t I’m broke hahaha, I’m just visiting here to enjoy the beauty of Québec 😅.

On our way to Château Frontenac, it is an enjoyable walk as you explore the grandiose architecture here in Québec.

We also get to spend our time on this vast green land before we get ourselves to the landmark. There are a lot of kids playing around ‘coz the area is really huge and windy. But honestly we just get lost, and we just stumble on this beautiful land area. Which I considered luck. Because after all the walk around Québec, this is a good resting place.

As soon as we’re near the grand hotel, we took photos of the monuments as this city is full of history.

They have tall horses out here in carriages. Horses back in the Philippines is just half of their sizes.

And near Fontaine de Tourny, there were a LOT of tulips. I’m dancing for joy.

And finally after braving the cold wind, we get to reached Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. It mas majestic! It’s like a castle in disguise.

Did you know that Château Frontenac is said to be the world’s most photographed hotel? And there are close to 2,000 windows with a spectacular overview of St. Lawrence River. Queen Elizabeth II and top Hollywood celebrities choose Château Frontenac for their stay. Wow! It must be a dream to stay in this kind of hotel.

If you walk further, you’ll get to see the St. Lawrence River the Dufferin Terrace. Along Dufferin Terrace are a row of canon guns. They have been reconditioned and are now on display for visitors to get a glimpse of Québec’s history.

Since we’re here, we also get a chance to check some of the shops and restaurants near the area. There are a lot of artists who sell their arts in this aisle. Incredible people.
