I was eyeing Masamura Ramen for a while now and it just so happen that the Animal Clinic we’ve visited is just a five minutes walk away to Masamura Ramen. It’s been on my feed for weeks and it looks promising in photos. Given that their menu is super affordable and I get to eat another Japanese meal, it’s a win-win situation for me 🙂
Masamura Ramen is located on Main Park, Luis Street at Pasig city. Along Mercedes Avenue.
How to get there:
- If you’re coming from Rosario Pasig, ride a jeep en route to Pasig Palengke. Alight at Shopwise in Mercedes Ave. and ride a tricycle. Tell kuya driver to drop you at Masamura Ramen.
- If you’re coming from Pasig Palengke, ride a jeep en route to Tramo/ Binangonan/ Angono. Alight at Shopwise in Mercedes Ave. and ride a tricycle. Tell kuya driver to drop you at Masamura Ramen.
Tip: Fare for tricycle is very steep. If you want, you can walk for 20 mins to reach Masamura Ramen. Pasig coding (odd-even) also applies so check your plate numbers to avoid nuisance.
Few people are eating since it’s past lunchtime. But most customers are from those who are waiting for their cars to get cleaned, those who are waiting for their pets to get groomed or laundry, dental and even get your hair cut.
“Estimately” Masamura Ramen occupies a very compact lot at Main Park. And a couple of tables and chairs upstairs as well.
Now let’s take a look on their menu. Isn’t that AMAZING?! Prices ranges from P10 – P140 only.
And because it’s affordable, I ordered 3 from their menu hehe. First, of course, is the shoyu ramen. I like how the egg is cooked, there is more fat on the pork meat tho but it’s tenderly cooked and very minimal amount of noodles on the bowl. Noodles are similar to the instant noodles. Taste is okay, the broth is not too strong but I’m fine with it.
Since california maki is not available, I’ve ordered the gyoza instead. And I LIKED IT! Three pieces and it’s very meaty inside.
And takoyaki. Where you can watch ate cooked your takoyaki on the side. Very minimal crab meat tho but I approved of how it’s cooked and plated 👍🏼.
All in all, I only spent P188 and I’m full. Does it have an authentic taste for a Japanese meal? I think not but hey it’s very cheap and you get to enjoy your cravings without going in the mall.
