Whilst the trend of spreading cheese all over your meal. Kko Kko got their cheese fondue to devour for. And as every foodie would say, we got to try that. Kko Kko serves korean style fried chicken owned by TV host Grace Lee. Aside from fried chicken, they also offer some street food on Korea and lunchboxes known as Dosirak.
Kko Kko has a few branches now in Manila and we tried out their Market Market branch. It’s a bit spacious and they have these polaroid photos with notes dangling on the wall during their opening day. And greens! They have a lot of plant replicas which I love. Placing greens on restos makes me happy and relaxed for some reason.
Let’s jump to what we ordered which is Chicken Cheese Fondue. This cost P658.00 which can be shared by 2-3 persons. Rice isn’t included as there’s already fries on the side. But since the chicken is so savory with the sauce might as well add rice on that. You can choose your sauce for the chicken and for the fries. There is a spicy option too. We prefer the soy garlic for the chicken and cheese for the fries. Aside from the fried, this also have onion rings and of course side dishes like kimchi and more (which I don’t know the names haha). And dip it into the melted cheese placed in the bread bowl. It’s so gooey and cheesy! There’s a lot of flavors and texture in this dish. If the photo above is not enough, then watch this video:
