Okada Manila has raised the bar of luxury. Known as the casino resort in Pasay, Okada Manila is among the largest luxury hotel in Asia. With fine architecture (which I failed to take a photo, boo me), and simply exquisite interior. For those who haven’t have a peek of Okada, below photo is c/o Okada Manila’s website. Isn’t it GRAND?! More information about the casino hotel up here – okadamanila.com/.
Inside Okada is very spacious and very Macau-feel (reminiscing Macau travel). There are still constructions going on for new stores. High-end stores are lined up and even cafes and restaurants.
And of course Okada Manila’s famous fountain. Without the fountain though hahaha since we got here during lunchtime. With a size of 50 Olympic-size pools is astonishing in sight. I wonder how it’ll look at night. The schedule of fountain shows are:
Mon to Thu, one song at the top of each hour (6:00 PM to 10:00 PM)
Fri to Sat, two songs at the top of each hour (6:00 PM to 12:00 AM)
Sun, two songs at the top of each hour (6:00 PM to 11:00 PM)
There’s also the indoor beach club called the Cove Manila. B-E-A-C-H???!!! Yes, indoor beach guys. But but I wasn’t able to go inside, not because of my age hahaha but because it’s still closed during lunchtime. How come all the excitement only happens during the night? hahaha! Cove Manila is known as the premier entertainment at Okada Manila. It’s a beach club and nightclub where local and international artists perform. I’m not party-person but I’m curious to take a look inside. Party at Cove Manila starts at 10 PM.
Now jumping to my favorite activity in Okada – Medley Buffet.
Medley buffet offers local and international cuisines. There are seven buffet stations to anticipate for. From salads, appetizers, desserts, FRESH seafood and even cheese! Cuisines range from Italian, Chinese, Indian, Korean, Japanese and Filipino food. And I’ve got loads of photos to feast for haha!
And of course refreshments from colas, teas, coffee, and fresh juices. You can also ask the staff of Medley buffet to get what you want. Especially if you have senior relatives that need assistance in getting their meal 🙂
The dining area is very spacious and the ambiance is great. For those who’d like to dine in, I recommend doing some reservations to avoid the hassle and you don’t want to go there and be informed that all the tables are full. Medley buffet opens on breakfast (6:00 – 10:30 AM), lunch (11:30 AM – 3:00 PM) and dinner (6:00 – 11:00 PM).
And we ate like pigs! Of course not literally haha! Everything is delicious and if my stomach allows if I can eat everything, I’ll eat everything. As my friend describes our dine-in experience – “walang patapon”. Every food is filled with generous ingredients that you may want to eat it again but of course, you have to try other cuisines as well. And the following photos hopefully makes you drool 😉
I totally recommend Medley Buffet. From their accommodating staff, great ambiance and super delicious food. Yes, it’s not affordable and yet it’s not way too expensive. And you get the best service you can find from a buffet restaurant. Breakfast cost P1,400, Lunch is 1,850 and Dinner is P2,700 (range differs if weekdays or weekends).
So head on to Okada Manila, enjoy shopping and have a relaxing lunch or dinner with your loved ones in Medley Buffet. Happy lamyerda and lamon!
