As you all know, I’m challenging myself to go for a healthy lifestyle since I’ve been visiting the hospital quite often haha. And as I browser for a few choices looking for a healthy meal near Makati, I find some interesting franchise that needs to extend their branches. Seriously, Makati seems so far for someone like me living in Pasig. The food chains I’m eyeing for are Falafel Yo, Chimara, and Thai blends.
I’m already full from my Chimara’s order that’s why I’m saving Falafel Yo on my next food to try (promise!). And since there are a few chairs to sit in, I grab their hot and savory meal. I got to try their Soy Ginger Chicken in panini for P190. You can choose which way you want to eat it, from panini, rice or pasta. Prices range from P180 – P210! They also have cold and fresh meals where you can choose to have it as salad or wrap. Sweet!
What I like about Chimara is their meals are flexible to your choice of convenience. You can either dine in or bring it with you while enjoying a movie. Thumbs up for that!
As what I mentioned, I ordered the panini version of Chimara’s Soy Ginger Chicken. It has chunks of chicken with the right amount of sauce. I mean, there are paninis overflowing with the sauce that it’s messy to eat. Their panini isn’t (or I’m just neater to eat nowadays haha). And to add more excitement to my plate, the panini is laid on a popcorn too. I’m wondering at first why everyone is ordering their popcorn. And the answer is because it’s delicious! What’s best about their popcorn is it’s cooked in olive oil! OLIVE OIL!
I should have bought a pack of popcorn huhu. They also have tofu chips and nachos which are interesting to taste too. I’ll buy those on my next visit for sure.
And since I’m craving for milk tea lately, I tried Thai Blends just on the left side of Chimara. Seems like there are a lot of customers, that’s a good sign.
Thai Blends also have healthy choices too on their menu! I have a lot of food to go back to hahaha. Aside from wraps and sandwiches, they also have salad and pasta which are unavailable during that time.
I would have loved to try the avocado milkshake but it has full milk on it so I’ll have to pass on that. So I tried one of their best seller which is the Thai milk tea for P120.
And it is good! There’s the aftertaste of tea that doesn’t overpower because of the milk which is good. I love my milk tea to still taste the strong tea on it. Love the taste, listing this on my favorite milk teas in Manila.
So if you’re going to buy some snacks on your next movie date, you may want to try Chimara and Thai Blends!
