It’s been so flattering to experience more than what you are expecting in one place. With both worlds of land and water, preserved nature, very rich culture and traditions – food, structures and history, and also meet nicest people, the Ivatans which certainly made their community or place as the zero crime rate of the Philippines. Felt so full on my 5 days stay and I still can’t get over it. Batanes Island is ♥️!

1. To experience green sorroundings of Batanes, best time to travel, June – Febraury.
2. You don’t need to bring too much food and toiletries in your bags and luggages, there’s a lot of stores for your needs. And it would be a big help supporting locals business.
3. When you landed at Basco Batanes airport, cooperate to the officers for tour process and guidelines.
4. And most importantly, Batanes is one of the most protected environment tourist place of the country. Exercise due diligence in helping the locals to maintain cleanliness, respect on nature and structures by not destroying original forms that Ivatans took good care of with for the longest time.
Now feast your eyes in this collection of photos captured of the breathtaking Batanes.
