It’s a week hunt for theme cafe’s! (Which didn’t go well because I got hospitalized.) I’ve been eyeing Alice Tea Salon for some time now and fortunately, it’s just located at the back of our office! I’m already giddy while I’m on my way.

Just 5 mins walk away from University of Asia and Pacific, Alice Tea Salon is located at G/F of The Pearl Plaza building along Pearl drive, Ortigas. You’ll immediately see it because of those red vibrant doors of the cafe. Oh my God, my heart is jumping for joy.

As you enter, the interiors are so cute even the café floorings is covered of black and white tiles. It really felt like you’re inside the set of Alice in Wonderland.

The most instagrammable corner is this white cups dangling from the ceiling.

On the other side of the corner are chairs where you can dine-in or take portraits of yourselves. Totally gorgeous and cute interiors!

Now let’s go their menu. They offer tea (hot or cold), milkshakes, desserts, and pastries.

Pastries are on the side of the claiming area. While desserts are on the side of the cashier.

And since I just had my lunch, I’ll go for the dessert and milk tea of course. I asked for their best-selling cold tea and they recommend wintermelon tea. It comes with a whip cream which I didn’t expect. Because most of the milk tea I’ve ordered doesn’t have one. And since I don’t like whip cream, I asked them to remove it. What I like about their tea is you can totally taste the tea and not just pure sugar on it. It’s perfect to pair with the dessert to balance the taste. Winter melon tea cost P140.

Drinks come with this adorably printed rabbit nose on their straw! Gaaaaaah! Well, it’s not really attached to the straw so you have the option to remove it. But I enjoy having it on my drink. Take a photo while drinking your tea!

As for the dessert, I’m very curious about their lemon cake. It’s not bitter, not too sweet and there’s a bit of lemon sourness on every bite. It looks crunchy on the outside but it’s not. It’s actually soft and not too heavy on the appetite. The milk tea does hahaha. I actually love this cake. Lemon cake cost P60.

They also have a discount card which you just need to stamp to get discounted prices on their teas. So stamp away!

And since Alice Tea Salon is near our office, this would be my new go-to for bread and milk tea! Enjoy your tea and as the mad hatter say “Clean cup, clean cup!”
